May Roundup
As the 2015-2016 school year comes to a close, Arcadia High school should be proud to have been home to so many amazing academic teams. From qualifiers to local, state, and regional championships to winning national titles, students have excelled in a wide range of different subjects. It will be amazing to see what accomplishments these students and future members will obtain in the years to come. Good luck Apaches!!!
April Roundup
The Arcadia High School Academic Teams continue towards excellence with our Destination Imagination team recently qualifying for their state championships. Their members join the sixteen Speech and Debate members who also qualified for their respective state championship tournament, which will be held in a couple weeks. All of the teams continue to make the school proud by achieving higher and more than ever before, and hopefully more good news awaits their future as well.
March Roundup
The AHS academic teams have been extremely successful these last few weeks. On February 6th, the Constitution Team placed first place in their state competition, securing a spot in the national competition for the second time in a row. Academic Decathlon has paved their way to the state championships, in which they hope to score yet another victory.
February Roundup
The AHS academic teams have been extremely successful these last few weeks. Academic Decathlon has paved their way to the state championships, in which they hope to score yet another victory.

In the upcoming weeks, please wish all teams good luck in their competitions! They have worked extremely hard to be where they are, and any support in terms of fundraising or even just encouraging words is largely appreciated. Go get 'em Apaches!
January Roundup
With the conclusion of 2016ís first month, the academic teams are already off to an excellent start. All teams are busy working towards regional and state tournaments. Teams such as Science Bowl, Quiz Bowl, and History Bowl are hoping to repeat the past yearís successes. Constitution Team is also preparing for their state competition this Saturday, in which a win will secure them a place at nationals. For now, Arcadia High is awaiting good results with high expectations.
However, with such expectations of the future, it's important to also reflect on the past. In January, we also lost two classmates, Anthony Lin and William Lin. William, a member of three academic teams, was honored during the Winter Pep Assembly as well as during a candlelight vigil. The brothers' memories will continue to live in our memories. In light of these events, ASB hopes for a safe second semester for all students.
December Roundup
With the last month of the year, there haven't been many tournaments for our academic teams before Winter Break. However, once again the Speech and Debate season continues with talented members winning awards in various invitational tournaments. Tryouts have concluded for all of our academic teams, and captains are now busy preparing members to compete in a lot more second semester competitions.

Also, feel free to check out our new Academic Teams Display Case outside of the ASB office! We will update the case with a team featuring, in which every couple weeks an academic team's accomplishments will be highlighted. Keep a lookout and cheer on your peers! Now, as 2016 begins, the Arcadia ASB and academic teams wishes all of you a successful new year! Good luck in all of your endeavors!
November Roundup
Hey Apaches! The past month has been a productive one for all our Academic Teams. Speech and Debate knocked down two more tournaments, Fall Novice and Fall Varsity, with excellent results. Many members are getting on their feet in their respective events, and practicing hard for the upcoming tournaments!

Our school's Mock Trial season may have ended, but they're worked hard this past month and are proud of what they have done. Hopefully, next year we will see them at the state championships as well! As for the other academic teams, they are still busy preparing for a lot more tournaments in the upcoming months, so be sure to encourage them to try their hardest!
October Roundup
This month, Math Team came in third in their first Bay Math League Meet at Torrance High School on October 21st. Keep up the good work guys! Our Constitution Team is also on their way to nationals once again as they won their district competition on October 31st! They are currently busy preparing for their state tournament. Congratulations!

Additionally, the Speech and Debate team has had their first tournament of the year, "Icebreakers" in which new members experienced competition firsthand. With many trophies resulting, the new year seems promising!
September Roundup
Hello Apaches! Welcome to a new year. My name is Joseph Yang, and I am the Academics Commissioner at Arcadia High School. Follow my announcements to keep up with how our eleven amazing academic teams are doing!

Many academic teams are already getting ready to crush the competition, and make Arcadia proud! Other teams, like Science Olympiad, Destination Imagination, and History Bowl, are still hosting their tryouts for the 2015-2016 school year!
